What started as an interest in aerial videography has morphed into a deep love of all things visual. As an obsessively curious person, I love exploring new concepts, and mastering the technical aspects of new software. I'm constantly asking myself, "how can I do better… how can I add value to the services I offer?"
Shooting and editing photos and video quickly led to a desire to offer much wider capabilities. Video editing in Premiere Pro led to a craving for things beyond what Premiere Pro had to offer. That led me to After Effects, which opened a whole new world of possibilities. That quickly led to an interest in learning motion design and VFX, which led naturally to a desire to understand and incorporate 3D; my current love. I decided to spend the pandemic aggressively broadening my skillset by pursuing training in motion design through School of Motion. Their training is world class when it comes to learning to execute real world visual projects and solve real world problems.
Having a broad base of knowledge in photography, videography, photogrammetry, design principles, 2D and 3D motion design, animation principles, arch viz, and a range of VFX and compositing skills, makes me stronger in each individual vertical. I'm constantly borrowing knowledge from one area to solve problems in another.
Whether it's taking a video, motion, or arch viz project from start to finish, or fulfilling a narrow role on a larger team, my personal and business philosophy is to be a problem solver who can find solutions, a team player who strives to be easy to work and communicate with, and who genuinely enjoys helping others succeed.
A BRIEF NOTE ABOUT HIRING DRONE SERVICES
Any drone pilot operating in connection with a business is required to be licensed with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) with a Part 107 certification. In Minnesota, any pilot operating in connection with a business must also be licensed with Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), and every drone used must be registered with MnDOT and insured.
I am fully licensed with the FAA and MnDOT, and insured for drone operations.
